The Bi-Plane Ride

There's a guy at the Palm Springs Airport who owns an old Bi-Plane, 1940 vintage, and we went for a ride with him today. Very fun.

His website: http://www.psbiplanes.com/

This is Riley, our nephew, and his pal Chris who are visiting for a few days. We let them go first thinking if they came back alive it would be OK for us to go. All went well and they had a blast.

We had to sit side by side in the plane - the pilot sits in the rear seat - so it was cozy. If your ass is wider than your fridge you might want to miss this trip.

Here's us ready for take-off.

The house on the top of the hill is Bob Hope's home. It was on for sale at $50 million but there's been a substaantial reduction in case anyone is interested.

Here's a couple shots of the front I stole from the internet

There are lots of other fantastic homes that you can see fom the air that you never see from the ground.

There's also huge unused areas still available for development.

Back on the ground.

This was a really fun thing to do and while it cost a few bucks it was well worth it. Will do it again someday.
