Test driving the Model X

We are (at least I am) big fans of Tesla electric cars. We put a deposit on their SUV model - the Model X in December 2014 and it's finally available for purchase. It's unlikely we'll actually go through with it as the Canadian $ is sucking so bad but who knows...??? Recently we were notified that they were going to have a few cars in San Diego and we were invited to come there for a test drive.

What a hoot - great car - acceleration like you can't believe.

The unit we drove is the P95D model. 0 - 60 MPH in 3.2 seconds - and NO NOISE - it's like the space shuttle from the old Star Trek series...just a soft wooooosh...
