Takamatsu
Takamatsu is a small city on the island of Tokushima.
The map below shows our path. Fukuoka to Hiroshma and now Takamatsu. Tomorrow the trip ends in Kobe.
Not a bad looking city.

Today we visit Ritsurin Garden and then a private business - a guy who grows and sell bonsai trees.
First the garden.
Just a bunch of pictures with few words.

And now for some high tech toilets - no squatting over a hole at this place.
I think the one directly below is a urinal. At least that's how I used it. It was too low to be a sink and there was another sink in the washroom. I sure hope it wasn't a sink.

And then we went to visit this guy who sells bonsai trees. His grandfather started the business over a hundred years ago.
So just a bunch of photos of the guy's trees.

This is the guy.

Back at the dock I got this picture of one of the security guards. MAN! I felt safe with his guy on the job.

And some modern art near the boat. What is it? An onion?

And they got some different cars here.
A Tank.

A March.

A Lapid?

No one locks there bikes here.

And they have these special paving blocks inserted into the sidewalk for blind people. They have a different texture than the adjacent paving so the blind can get around better.

And one last shot of our ship.

That's it for Takamatsu and the cruise - tomorrow we'll be off the boat by 9:00 AM and on our own for a week in Japan.
