There are not a lot of endemic or indigenous mammals in the Galapagos. The sea lion might be the main one and they are very plentiful and very tame. There are other mammals too like cats, rats, dogs, etc. but they have all been brought to the islands by humans. Sometime in the past someone brought goats to the islands and they caused a lot of damage.
In the video below a sea lion comes out of the sea and then climbs up the cliff to find a sunny spot at the top. At the start of the video it's hard to see him - look right at the centre of the video.
They really like to sleep.

We visited a little sea side town one day and the sea lions were everywhere - they owned the town!

They even manage to jump out of the water onto small boats anchored in the harbor.

In the video below a sea lion is interested in Marina - she's the lady we had dinner with the night we ate with the captain. She freaks out when she realizes the sea lion in atttractd to her.
The pelicans are pretty smart - they watch the sea lion trying to catch a fish knowing that sooner or later there will be an opportunity for one of them to catch a fish that has escaped the sea lion. In the video below you see that happen.
