We're stayaing close to Poipu Beach. Not on the beach but close enough to walk if you didn't need chairs and beer coolers, etc., etc. So we have to take the car. Just means my ass will get a bit bigger from the beer and lack of walking.

This a great beach. I read somewhere years ago it was voted one of the best beaches in the USA. It's got safe sections like in the pic below and it's got wilder sectons too.
There was a huge turtle swimming in the are shown below the afternoon we were there. I tried to get a shot but he was shy.

HA! I never noticed the guy down in the bottom of the photo before. It looks like he's in pain or maybe he needs to pee real bad.
The dark clouds eventually covered us and we had to leave the beach.
