Keelung
Our next stop is Keelung which is a port city near Taipei - the capitol of Taiwan.
Again we have chosen an excursion that sounds good on paper but in reality it's not that great. And we've got the same, hard to understand, guide that we had on yesterday's excursion.
Oh well...
So we're off to see some fantastic rock formations...formed by the sea and water over eons...right!
So here's one.
And another with a man it it (Marty by the way...75 years old..a Canadian living in Carmel By The Sea, California)
And the same shot minus Marty. Where did he go?
When you sign on for these excursions they always sound so good - they don't tell you there'll be 10,000 other people there. Everyone pushing and shoving. No one being nice.
The next two are interesting: The first one was taken by my new - semi expensive camera.
And this one by my new, equally expensive, Samsung Galaxy 9+ phone. A little different angle but essentially the same shot.
Same experiment - one by a phone one by a camera.
And why can't people follow the rules?
So I had to find out for myself what was so dangerous and all it was somebody had taken an shit in there. Luckily Terri didn't step on it.
We saw a nice butterfly too...
And a flower...
Back on the ship we met a couple young cruisers: Chong and Mini-Chong
The Taiwan navy.
And that's it for Keelung.
