So we decided we better go hiking. Bike seats are too hard on our virgin asses.
Bought some gear:
A back pack with built in water bladder. A good size first aide kit (the red thing) and some bug spray.
One thing we didn't get - which I was advised later we should get - is a snake bite kit! WTF..?? Why didn't somebody tell us there are snakes...???
Anyway we never saw any snakes. Maybe some two legged ones but who can say for sure.
We went to Palm Springs and went into the Indian Canyons and did two hikes: a short one of about half an hour - Andreas Cayon hike and another one that had us wishing we'd brought some cheese burgers along...Murray Canyon hike.
At the end we went to the local native-operated trading post for a beer...there was none...f$#@$#@ing indians!!!
