Gisborne

Gisborne is only about 150 kms from Napier where we were yesterday. And its a pretty good hike to Auckland where we'll be tomorrow and where this cruise will end.

I don't recall all the various excursions that were available in Gisborne...I just remember the one we took....another wine tour!  We're starting to like the New Zealand wines!

When we disembark the ship in Gisborne a group of Maori dancers and singers is there to welcome us.  At least I think they're welcoming us... now that I think about it perhaps they were warning us to stay away...at any rate we all came ashore and no one was speared.

One of the wineries we visited. A real good one too. Probably the best of all of them over the last three days.

They gave some some proper charcuterie to eat with the wine.

And after we'd sampled some we could go up and drink a bunch more.
