We fly home today. Flight from Nice to Amsterdam leaves at 6:25 so we're up at 4:00 and on the bus at 5:00. It's hard after 4 weeks of getting up when we feel like it.
Amsterdam has a huge 1st class lounge. There must be enough room to fit 500 people. Makes Calgary's lounge look like a closet.
Nothing like a glass (Terri) or two (Frank) of champagne for breakfast.
A huge airplane. A 747? Freaking massive.
Flight home is pretty uneventful - except flying over Greenland.
This is the plane appproacing the coastline. Lots of bare land below.
As the plane goes further north and west the bare land starts to disappear and there is only snow.
Flying over Northern Alberta. Looks crappy.
