Airlie Beach

I like snorkelling.  Terri doesn't like it too much but she likes going on the boat.  So we chose the snorkelling excursion at Airlie Beach.  Bad Choice!

The boat was what they call a RIB  (Rubber Inflatable Boat) and it was over crowded.

The snorkelling site was a long ways away from Airlie Beach so Terri got a nice boat ride.  At the snorkelling site there was already a couple boats there and a lot of people in the water.  Way too crowded for good snorkelling.

And there seemed to be only one kind of fish.  A real rip off in my opinion.

This is a RIB.  Ours was a bit bigger but you get the idea.

The bay we were in was nice enough.
